- Celebrities in our Midst at Lake AlhambraPosted on: 2009-03-19Two members of our Lake Alhambra community have been honored recently. Martha Parsons has been appointed to the Antioch City Council. She fills the vacancy left when Jim Davis was elected our new Mayor. We predict this is only the start of a great political career.
Another member of our community honored is Leroy Lui. He was nominated for the 2008 Citizen of the Year. He has worked over twenty years with the Junior Achievement Program and twenty years with the Dow Wetlands Project. In all, he has motivated thousands of young students to be responsible citizens and to be more knowledgeable of their environment. We are proud of you, Leroy.
- Welcome New Board MembersPosted on: 2009-03-19Congratulations to the newest members of the Board of Directors. Homeowners Judy Romanoff and Cornelius 'Cass' Buys were elected to the Board at the Jan. 15, 2009 Annual Membership Meeting. They were appointed to the board at the February Board meeting.
All homeowners are encouraged and welcome to attend the Regular Board Meetings. Meetings are now held on the third Wednesday of the month starting in March. The upcoming dates are March 18 and April 22.
